Introducing the Alpha 4040

The new Alpha 4040 is a 4,000 watt, 1.8 MHz - 30 MHz, automatic antenna tuner, and it is nearly complete.
As you'd expect from an Alpha, our new 4kW Auto Tuner has TWO 7.5 kV  vacuum variable Capacitors and a new edge wound, multiple contact Inductor configured as a "Tee" network for flexibility.

The front panel has a color LCD touch screen driven by an embedded Linux based computer and will display the R±jX complex impedance on a Smith Chart!

This tuner will withstand a full 4 kW from 1.8 MHz to 30 MHz, key down*.  Check out the commercial quality components we picked or specially designed for the job.

The web page is up on our site at www.rfconcepts.com, and we're taking no-deposit orders for delivery at the end of Q1, 2012.

Read the description, check out some of the renderings, and think about how great this piece of equipment would look in your shack!

*Maximum rating is dependent on the actual load impedance presented.  There is a table showing maximum power on the Alpha 4040 webpage. From 30 to 3000 ohms, the tuner will handle 4,000 watts continuous, from 1.8 MHz to 30 MHz.
