Greetings!
Barbie lookalike
Have you ever walked into a store, seen a likeness of yourself and done a complete double take? That happened to me recently on a trip to Target. Barbie has this new line of basic black dolls and this one was hanging out on the shelf. I had to look again, thinking, "Wow - that's me!" I even held up my son and said, "Who's that?" He, too, did a double take!

So, of course, I had to buy it. Some friends have suggested putting it in scrubs with a mini stethoscope so it can be a little Grammar Doctor.

If you can't have crazy fun with a little lookalike, what's it all about?

With hopes that you, too, find a little doppelgänger,

The power of a press release! When I started hosting my brown baAmanda Collinsg series, I, of course, sent out releases to the local media to let them know. One I sent to the Phoenix Business Journal turned into them asking me if I would like to be featured in "2.0 minutes with..." Naturally, I jumped at the chance!

If you're not using HARO (help a reporter out), you are doing yourself a disservice! I answered a recent query about résumés and my hint on creating great accomplishments was included in the article Brain Dump and Brainstorm Your Way to a Résumé, on TheLadders.com. The irony here is that I actually contract for that site to write résumés!
