POA Manager Does His Time Behind Bars
As reported in the first Newsletter of December, POA Manager Terry Pingel went behind bars to help raise funds for MDA. On Wednesday, December 1st, Terry was escorted to jail where he met with the judge and was officially charged. His bail was set at $1,000.00. With help from several caring and good-hearted Doubletree residents bail was raised and even exceeded. Over $1600.00 was raised to help provide expert care for those affected with neuromuscular disease. Terry was later released and returned to the POA office by Crown Point Police officers. At days end MDA crowned your POA Manager "TOP JAIL BIRD" for exceeding his goal and being the events #1 fundraiser. Thank you to all that contributed!! Go to https://www.joinmda.org/MyLockup/MyHomepage/tabid/192771/Participant/terrypingel/Default.aspx to see progress.

There is still time to contribute. Please drop off unwrapped gifts or a donation of cash or check at the guardhouse. The event is December 19th.

Doubletree EAST Gates
We are experiencing problems with some of the Doubletree East Gates. These problems are getting our upmost attention and we hope to have resolved soon. The gates are becoming outdated and some parts and software updates are difficult to come by. Please be patient. And, please remember to STOP at the front gate when entering the left side.
