Jack 'n Jill hat
Hopefully Spring has REALLY sprung. I am getting so tired of the snow and cold. It's soccer season for me, and it is not fun out there in the cold weather. I wasn't able to stay for SewWhatever last week, but they tell me you had a great time. Almost everyone was able to finish their nursing cover, and those ladies who were doing open sew were able to get a lot done as well. I'm looking forward to being here this week. Since nearly everyone finished their nursing cover, we are going to make a Jack 'n Jill hat on April 14th. It is sooo cute. You can make it for a girl with ruffles or flowers, or do a plain one for a boy.
You will need:
For a GIRL hat:
Fabric A (main body and brim) fat quarter
Fabric B (band and lining) 1/3 yard
Fabric C (ruffle) 1/8 yard
Fusible Interfacing 2/3 yard
Fusible Fleece 1/4 yard
Flower: small petals 1/8 yard
medium petals 1/4 yard
large petals 1/4 yard
For the BOY hat:
Fabric A (main body) 1/2 yard
Fabric B (lining) fat quarter
Fusible Interfacing 2/3 yard
Fusible Fleece 1/4 yard
