Landscape Love
From Catherine Block:  REPLY
I am looking for someone to keep the landscape tidy at my home in the Grove. I have a small, mostly paved yard with no grass so it doesn't require much attention, basically just weeding, blowing leaves, pruning and removing falling branches. I don't think I need a full-blown landscape company since it's such a small job. Do you know of a person who can do this type of work? Thank you!

A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words and Hopefully a Thousand Buyers!

By Ashley Cusack, EWM RealtorsREPLY Cusack

There's nothing more important to the success of a listing than having knock-your-socks-off photography. Additionally, there's nothing more detrimental than bad photography. Photos are such a critical marketing tool today - they can make or break a sale. Today's buyer starts their real estate search online, long before they step foot into any house. They evaluate a home and decide if they even want to see it based on the pictures. Bad pictures or pictures taken before your house is truly ready can be so damaging to a seller's success. If a house is unfurnished, sellers should consider staging it before listing it. On the other hand, heavily furnished houses should be pared back before having pictures done. Crisp, clean, inviting spaces with natural light and no clutter are the goal! Don't be the house with the bad pictures that no one wants to see - make your house shine before the photographer shows up!*
