Congratulations Desmond and Sheena!
From Team JAB
Desmond proposing to Sheena
Many of you may remember Desmond Meade, our first-ever JustAsk community service campaign recipient. His emotional story started with him living on the streets of Miami and despite numerous hardships, led him to FIU's College of Law where he is a star student determined to use his degree to help those less fortunate. Desmond now has another chapter to his compelling story and we are so proud to share it with you - Desmond is engaged! He surprised his girlfriend, Sheena, at her 30th birthday party by singing "One in a Million" to her. Then he popped the question and she said yes! Desmond and Sheena are thrilled to begin their lives together. Best wishes, Desmond and Sheena!

Hail to the JABBERSJAB Never Fails!

From Alexa Sherr Hartley

I have been using JAB for almost two years and it has yet to let me down.  No matter how big my request or how random JAB comes through.  Over the past couple of weeks I have posted on JAB at least twice and have been thrilled with the results.  Recently, I asked JABBERS for their favorite slow cooker recipes and now with all of the responses I received I could publish a JAB cookbook.  Cuban Pot Roast, Salsa Chicken, Pineapple Ham - all delicious. How's that for results?  Give Boo a shot!  Eventually, you will count on it as much as I do!

Should My Boys Bunk Up?

From Liz Fusco:  REPLY
I have two boys: five-years-old and 18 months. I would like to bunk them up in one room, but I've heard mixed reviews about the success of doing this. My younger son is still in a crib and they go to bed about a half an hour apart. I am thinking I could probably get them on the same schedule if necessary. I'd love any advice you can offer!

Forgotten Faces of India by Jeanette Denkerova
Recommended By: Ashley SchutzJAB Summer Reading
I was thrilled when JABBER Jeanette Denkerova offered to send me the book she wrote about her experiences volunteering at an Indian orphanage. Her story was more inspiring than I ever could have imagined: growing up in the Czech Republic, Jeanette was an international model who always felt she had a higher calling. In the midst of a tragic family health crisis, she set off to India and was transported to a totally different world. She's lived in Boca Raton for the past 15 years and is currently studying for a doctoral degree in Psychology. Proceeds from her book go back to the Indian orphanage to which she has dedicated so much of her time, money and passion. Order HERE.
