We Need to Ship to the Military!
From Amy Zambrano:  REPLY
Our 501c3 provides iPads to our troops. We have always shipped through the US Post Office but they just stopped shipping anything with lithium batteries! Now we have no way to ship these important items to our front lines! We are working with private shippers but they don't ship to APO (military) addresses! Does anyone have any ideas on how we can ship to Afghanistan? We have iPads ready to be shipped! Thank you so much.

Veterans Day Nov 11

This Dog Truly is a "Trooper"
From Denise Madan
Skills Summer Camp
Sometimes things just stop you in your tracks. Two days ago, during an extreme downpour of rain, I saw a Chocolate Lab, severely injured and alone, on the side of the road. It was heartbreaking when I realized that this sweet animal, paralyzed by his pain, was immobilized on the ground, bleeding. He had been hit by a car and, among other injuries, his front leg seemed to be broken. Thankfully, with the help of several good Samaritans and one incredible police officer, we were able to get him to a veterinary hospital where "Trooper" had surgery. He had his jaw fracture boned, his palate repaired, and his leg was set with pins. Will you help us give Trooper a second chance and donate HERE to his medical fund? You can also donate directly to Miami Veterinary Specialists by calling 305.665.2820. If you believe you know the dog's name and owner please contact me at 786.334.8200.

School's Out For Summer
From Stewart Timothy Carrell:  REPLY
It's here!  And, we're not only talking about the South Florida heat.  Summertime is filled with trips to the beach, pool party BBQ's ... and also rainy afternoons.  When stuck indoors, children can get bored and restless, but not when they are spending time with our creative, inspiring and fun-loving sitters.  Let our sitters or nannies entertain your kids while giving you the break you deserve so that the entire family can beat the heat happily.  All of our candidates are experienced, qualified, educated, CPR/First Aid Certified and personally interviewed/background checked. We can also provide housekeeper or nanny/housekeeper candidates.  Visit our website HERE or e-mail us HERE to learn more.*

We JustAsk You to Support Deserving Moms in Our Community
From Team JAB
Being a new mom is challenging, but if you're homeless with no resources, the thought of raising a child seems impossible. After a desperate struggle to support her family, Katrina Rolle found herself pregnant and on the streets of Overtown without much hope. That is until a homeless shelter referred her to the United Way Center for Excellence in Early Education's Early Head Start Home-Based Program, where she learned the skills necessary to support herself and raise her son, Keyun. JustAskBoo has teamed up with United Way for JustAsk, a service campaign that brings JABBERS together to collectively wrap our arms around families in our community who are using educational resources to improve their lives. Families, like Katrina and Keyun, at the Early Head Start Program desperately need essential necessities like clothes, food, hygiene,  strollers, car seats and educational supplies. We JustAsk you to help these new moms by clicking HERE to purchase basic supplies from a registry of items. Thank you and Happy JABBING!

Where Can Moms Find Meaningful Work?
From Margaret Beasley:  REPLY
After years of being a stay-at-home mom, my kids are finally in school for the majority of the day. I am looking to work, but I don't want to report to a traditional 9-to-5 office job. I've heard there are websites out there that offer opportunities for "mompreneurs" - MomCorps is one of them. Does anyone know of a website, message board, blog or niche employment agency in our community that caters to women looking for flexible, fulfilling job opportunities? I'm not interested in direct sales or home parties - I want a real career, just not in the traditional setting. Thanks!

My Daughter is a Rockin' Robin!
From Kathleen Kauffman:  REPLY

From Kathy Swank:  REPLY

Is Your Gynecologist Listening?
From Dr. Randye Karmin:  REPLY
It's so important for you to know that your concerns are being heard by your doctor. At Miami Women Care, we take pride in understanding how our patients feel. The staff is small and I am the only physician in the office, so we get to know each of our patients and you never feel like just a number or a name. Our appointments are appropriately spaced so I have the time necessary to make you comfortable and not rushed. You deserve to be heard! Call today for your appointment at 305-670-0010 or book online at our website by clicking HERE.*

This Father's Day Celebrate Family

From Jonathan Dann:  REPLY
A dad is most often the one taking the photos in the family. There are always lots of snapshots of kids, many of mom and so few of him. So, this Father's Day, make sure all the photos include this wonderful man -- the apple of your and your kids' eye. Photographer and long time-Miami resident Jonathan Dann can help you celebrate family -- and dad.   A series of photos of your family, together and individually, can make this Father's Day the most special yet. Visit our website HERE or call 917-453-1746.*

Summer Wheels Needed
From Esther Perez Apple:  REPLY
My 19-year-old is home for the summer and three people are sharing two cars. We need another car for a couple of months for mom or dad to drive while he takes one of ours. We hesitate to lease a car that he can't take back to college and will just sit in our driveway for the next nine months. Does anyone have any ideas? The quote to rent a car from Enterprising Leasing was $200 per week. Thanks for any suggestions.
