 Dear JABBERS: I just read my horoscope. WAIT ... please don't stop reading! It started out with this: "All year, new people have been streaming into your life, and the influence has likely been very stimulating! You may have moved to a new location, changed jobs ... or maybe you decided to get involved with social media. Any of these types of changes would have been why you have expanded your circle, and no doubt those new friendships have widened your worldview." Now perhaps anyone's horoscope could start the same way. But you have to admit, that is pretty poignant!
 I always reflect on the past year during the month of June because it's the start of summer and my birthday, both of which happen to fall on the same day (June 21st!). And this year has been a particularly exciting one. Over the past 12 months, we have made major improvements to JAB, launched The Newsletter in two new cities and most importantly, we continue to grow our unparalleled community of amazing JABBERS. I am eternally thankful to you for always giving each other the "star treatment" and making JAB so unique. Perhaps I should thank my lucky stars as well! Happy JABBING! Boo |

After a desperate struggle to support her family, Katrina Rolle found herself pregnant and on the streets of Overtown without much hope. That is until a homeless shelter referred her to the United Way Center for Excellence in Early Education's Early Head Start Home-Based Program, where she learned the skills necessary to support herself and raise her son, Keyun.  It's hard to imagine that we're at the end of another school year! At this time of year, I always reflect on all that's taken place since last year - all the goals my children have achieved, everything they've learned in school, how much they've grown and how they have matured. This year is especially emotional for me as my son is graduating from 5th grade and headed to middle school next year. In the midst of all this emotion, the real estate market is busier than ever, and we are running in 20 different directions! It is all exciting news though with the real estate market taking off and my son about to embark on his next chapter.
