JABBERS, We JustAsk You to Help New Moms in Need
From Team JAB JustAskBoo has teamed up with United Way for JustAsk, a service campaign that brings JABBERS together to collectively wrap our arms around families in our community who are using educational resources to improve their lives. This campaign, we JustAsk you to help moms in our community who need it most. These women are living in shelters and want to give their children the best possible childhood, regardless of their circumstances. The United Way Center for Excellence in Early Education's Early Head Start Home-Based Program provides these moms with parenting support, guidance and assistance with basic resources like clothes, food, hygiene, strollers, car seats and educational supplies. Finding the Faith
I am a Catholic in an interfaith marriage and agreed to raise my children Jewish, which was a hard decision for me to make. While I am comfortable with my decision, it is still something I struggle with. I am looking for a support group or to meet other parents who have made the same decision and face the same situations. I'd like to talk about how you celebrate holidays, instill religious beliefs in your children, share your own faith and handle your respective family's beliefs and values. Thank you.

Remember Our Soldiers on Memorial Day

Originally known as Decoration Day, it originated in the years following the Civil War and became an official federal holiday in 1971. I am eight weeks pregnant and have been experiencing all-day nausea every day for the past three weeks. I am in search of anything that can help. For example, we're closing on a house today that went under contract in 11 DAYS - listed for $1,095,000 and selling close to the asking price. This is the type of activity I'm talking about, and this shift has happened just in the past few months! To show you what I mean, I looked at single family, non-distressed home sales in Coral Gables between $800,000 - $1,250,000. Last year at this time, these were our stats: 48 active listings, $258 average price-per-square-foot, 3 sales/month, 3 pending sales/month, selling for 88% of the listing price with average of 184 days on market and we had 14.7 months of inventory. Here are today's stats: 40 active listings, $314 average price-per-square-foot, 4.5 sales/month, 8 pending sales/month, selling for 93% of the listing price with average of 79 days on market and we have 10.6 months of inventory. What an amazing shift we are seeing!*
