Kurt Elling, Laurence Hobgood and Seiji Ozawa Hall were made for each other.  We know how much Kurt and Laurence appreciate a world-class performance environment such as Tanglewood and I feel it's the alignment of the best musicians in the jazz world and the best venue in the country.  Kurt has become a favorite at Tanglewood since we presented him in 2008 and I wish he and Laurence could be here every year.  They always bring something fresh and innovative--and the luxurious sound of their music floating over the rolling hills at Tanglewood is a moment no true jazz fan will ever forget.
