Kurt & Laurence performed at the White House State Dinner, November 24, 2009. We'll have White House stories and photos to share soon. Stay tuned!
GQ's Kurt Elling Live at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue links to Kurt's earlier GQ interview where he told stories about President Obama and described the art of vocalese.
GQ says, "He also debuted an excerpt of a new song with the working title "Samurai Hee-Haw" that, well... We think is irresistible as hell." Listen to the preview here.
Kurt & Laurence go into the studio in January with
some very special guests to record the next album. Watch for news
about a summer 2010 release (and fans who've been at recent shows really hope it includes "Samurai Hee-Haw").
