Dear Friends -
We have received a great outpouring of love and condolences in response to the sad news of Denis Hernandez's tragic death on February 18. Your kind words and prayers have been very moving to read, and they will be shared with the staff at El Hogar and Denis' family.
Many of you have asked whether there will be a memorial fund set up, and whether there will be any kind of service held in memorial in North America.
In response to your thoughtful and generous request, we have set up the following fund:
Denis Javier Hernandez Garcia Memorial Fund
Donations to this Fund will benefit students at the Agricultural School and Farm, in specific ways to be determined by the Directors of El Hogar Projects.

The sponsor of Denis is St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Weston Massachusetts. This church will be holding an Evensong Service on Sunday March 4, 2012 which will be a memorial to Denis. For those local to the Boston area, all are welcome at this service. See details on right panel.
For those who may wish to remember Denis collectively or privately, the prayer on the right panel is offered for your use.
Again, we are so grateful to all our friends and supporters; the love felt for El Hogar and the work being done for the children and youth of Honduras is strong and clear.
