More than 270 of you have responded to the invitation to participate in our survey regarding online seminars (Webinars) and the response has been overwhelmingly positive! So much so that we will be hosting our first webinars in March and are taking bookings even as we speak.
The schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, March 18th and Wednesday, March 25th - from 7:30 PM AEST to 9:00 PM AEST
1- An introduction to vaccination - presented by Meryl Dorey, National President of the Australian Vaccination Network and Editor of Living Wisdom magazine
This 2-part series will cover many of the important issues involved in the decision-making process parents and others should be going through when deciding whether or not to vaccinate their children or themselves. It will cover the following and more:
a) What are the ingredients of vaccination?
b) What side effects are associated with vaccines in general and some of the newer vaccines specifically?
c) How are vaccines tested?
d) How effective are vaccines?
e) Are there any alternatives to medical vaccination?
f) Are vaccinations compulsory for schooling? For the workplace?
Each session will run for 1 hour with 1/2 hour for question time afterwards.
The cost for non-AVN members (if you subscribe to Living Wisdom but are not a financial member of the AVN, you will be paying this price) will be $20 per session or $30 if you book into both events. The cost for AVN members is $15 per session or $20 if you book into both. You can join the AVN and book at the discounted rate at the same time if you wish. Please just on the links above and below for more details and to book in. You do NOT have to attend on the evenings that the sessions are held. If you would prefer, you can simply book and you will be sent a link where you can access the archived event to watch at your leisure (you see, we DID listen to you :-) and if you do attend, you will still be able to review the archive at a later date if you wish.
Tuesday March 24th from 7:30 PM AEST to 8:45 PM
The second event is free to AVN members and only current AVN members can attend. It is a 1-hour and 15 minute overview of the Gardasil vaccine presented by Meryl Dorey. Gardasil is the new so-called cervical cancer vaccine.
It has been 'credited' with having caused a greater than 500% increase in allergic reactions when compared to other vaccines. Meryl will be discussing the horrendous reactions that have been reported to the AVN, the way in which this vaccine is being marketed, the fact that boys are soon to be vaccinated with Gardasil and ways in which, through community and grass-roots action, pressure can be applied to bring about the withdrawal of this extremely dangerous shot. The seminar will run for 45 minutes with 1/2 an hour for question time.
