Questions - you've got questions!
After yesterday's email newsletter, we received quite a few questions from many of you which I felt deserved answers so this is just a very short and quick response so you will all know where we stand.

1- Tax deductibility of donations
Three times, the AVN has applied to be a deductible gift recipient meaning that all donations of over $2 could be deducted from a person's tax. Three times, we have been knocked back. The last time this happened, the ATO actually said that we qualified for this right but that we were 'anti-vaccine' (don't they love that label?) so we couldn't get it!

This of course has meant that we have struggled financially for a long time because people have been unable to deduct their donations.

Now however, after discussing this issue with lots of people, we have found a work-around. Anyone who donates $200 or more to the AVN will be considered a sponsor and your sponsorship will be used and printed in either for our newsletter, the Inside Edition or for our email newsletter which comes out fortnightly.

So the money you give us will come off of your end-of-year tax bill - less money for the government to waste on allopathic drugs and vaccines - more money for us to use to fight against the one-size-fits all sickness policy. Please be sure to specify if you want your sponsorship to appear in your personal name or a business name and thanks for the suggestion those of you who helped us with this.

2- RedBubble and the T-Shirts
My grandmother once said that if our family went into the business of building coffins, people would stop dying! We joked about it but that 'lucky streak' continued yesterday when RedBubble's web site went down - probably for the first time ever - right after we sent out our newsletter regarding the AVN and Living Wisdom T-Shirts that were for sale. You will be happy to know that the site is back up again and you can access our design page by clicking here or on the words RedBubble above.
