Those of you who are subscribed to our email discussion list would be aware of a program that appeared last week on Mornings with Kerri-Anne (http://www.kerrianne.com.au/public_panel/index.php) where 2 doctors attempted to tear down all of the research on vaccine risks and basically said that there were no problems with vaccination - all of them had been disproven and parents needed to vaccinate. They didn't provide one skerrick of research to back up their statements and one of them even said that there had only ever been one study which tried to link vaccination with autism and that was in 1998 and that study has been disproven many times. HELLO!
After this program aired, something wonderful happened! So many of you phoned in, wrote and emailed to ask Channel 9 to show the other side that they called and invited me to go on the program! This is an unprecedented opportunity to reach millions of Australian parents and without your help and support, it never would have occurred.
If you have time to watch the program this morning, please do so. And after you have seen it, please contact the station to let them know what you think. As you can see, they are sensitive to the opinions of their viewers. If you like it - tell them! They will do it again. If you don't like it - call and let them know. They may try to do better next time.
