Vaccination information campaign:

Dear supporter of informed choices,
One of our very dedicated members in South Australia has gotten
together with a group of her friends and I believe the members of her church
too though I may be wrong. They have committed to putting a display ad on
vaccination into their local newspaper every month and splitting the costs
amongst themselves. This good-sized ad (approximately 17cm high by 13cm wide)
costs them approximately $220 each month and that is split at least 10 ways so
it is only costing each of them $22 a month. The first month was July and we
ran an ad on the Cervical Cancer vaccine (please see the ad above).
In addition to running this ad,
the person who organised the campaign also submitted a letter to the editor.
She has received several responses from people wanting more information.
This month, this group will be
sponsoring an ad on mercury in vaccines and again will be following up with a
letter to the editor which I am happy to provide them with.
This is a cheap, easy and
effective way to inform others about the problems with vaccines -especially if it were to be repeated in other areas of Australia.
The big national and capital city daily newspapers are quite expensive to advertise in but you will find that
the local media has very cost-effective rates and if you get together with
others, the cost per person is ridiculously low.
So how about it? We provide the
artwork and will also be happy to provide text for the letter to the editor. Do
you have a group of 8-10 individuals in
your area who are willing to give this a go?
