Humanist Poetry Group
Friday, June 29 7:00-9:00 p.m., Dietrich Room This month we focus on the theme of humor because sometimes we just have to laugh at ourselves and at life. So hunt down a poem that makes you smile or tickles your funny bone, and if you find one to share, bring along a few copies to aid the discussion and enjoyment of the poem. The facilitator, Audrey Kingstrom, will provide some poems from her collection to ponder as well as some light refreshments.

Thank You FUS!
"Please relate how delighted our students were to receive a new book. Each child was so amazed that they had friends outside the school they did not know who got a good book for them. Thanks also to our friends at Wild Rumpus who helped us choose the books and stay within budget so 80 children could receive a book." --Ann Luce
Remember those Passports to Social Justice? The FUS Bookstore agreed to donate a book to each child in Bright Water Montessori preschool and kindergarten programs when 50 Passports were completed. Mission accomplished! This amounts to a $500 donation. Bright Water Montessori has been recognized for its success in low income communities. It is part of the Northside Achievement Zone.
