New Exhibit Coming
August 1 - September 4The art exhibit during the month of August is work done by Kulture Klub Collaborative, an arts program for youth experiencing homelessness housed within YouthLink in downtown Minneapolis. The pieces in this exhibit are the result of the youth working with two resident artists, a photographer and a printmaker. This is the same work exhibited at the state capitol for a week during the last legislative session. A celebration of this exhibit and work done by Kulture Klub Collaborative will be held in the Gallery immediately after the Sunday Summer Assembly on August 28.

For UUs, such a fickle marketplace offers both promise and peril." Check out this article in UU World by clicking here.

Save the Toiletries!
For the Dignity Center, that is. If you are going on a trip, please save the hotel soap, shampoo and lotion and bring them to the Social Action table in the Lower Assembly Hall. Other items needed are: combs with WIDE TEETH, SMALL HAND TOWELS and DISPOSABLE RAZORS. Many of the Dignity Center Clients are going back to school in the fall and are in need of BACKPACKS or TOTE BAGS - new or used. They can be brought to the FUS office or the Social Action table in the Lower Assembly Hall. Thank you very, very much.
