Nana (played by Denise Colley) is a sweet grandmother who has been running a lingerie boutique from her rent-controlled New York apartment for years. She and her buddy Vera (Gianina Hill) have been selling very naughty undergarments to senior citizens who want to spice up their lives. However, the enterprise might come crashing down around her when her law-student granddaughter Bridget (Vicki Kavanaugh) stumbles upon her business, and her money-hungry landlord Schmidt (Ernie Evangelista) starts snooping for ways to evict Nana and get a tenant who pays full rent. Of course, there is plenty of romance, supplied by Bridget and Tom O'Grady (Ryan Jordan) a naive young policeman just assigned to the beat in Nana's neighborhood. Can Tom overlook the naughty knickers that will not stay hidden and save the day?

Their live show will bounce you through a variety of emotions always keeping you guessing which is coming next. You might cry, you'll definitely laugh, and they hope you'll leave a feeling that your heart has grown just a little bigger than it was before you arrived.

Spellbound July 26, 7pm The Red Barn Theatre, Saugatuck
The Red Barn Theater's film series continues July 26 with Alfred Hitchcock's 'Spellbound,' a psychological thriller released in 1945 and featuring Ingrid Bergman and Gregory Peck. Peck turns up at a mental institution posing as its new director. Bergman, a staff psychiatrist, observes Peck's peculiar behavior and realizes that he is a dangerous imposter. The story takes the audience headlong through illusion and delusion until the heroine saves the day. 'Spellbound' displays all of Hitchcock's sleight-of-hand and he takes full advantage of an excellent cast that includes Michael Checkov, Leo G. Carroll and the young Rhonda Fleming. Producer David O. Seznick hired surrealist artist Salvador Dali to design some scenes of mental delusion and a lengthy dream sequence fraught with symbolism.
