LOS ANGELES (June 11, 2009) - Christopher Street West is Proud to host an internationally recognized collection of headliners on the LA PRIDE Main Stage including Fantasia, Terri Nunn & Berlin, Deborah Cox, Exposé and Blake Lewis June 12-14, 2009 in West Hollywood, CA. Alongside nearly half-a-million attendees along Santa Monica Blvd., LA PRIDE Parade Grand Marshal, Chelsea Handler and Chuy Bravo, and Community Grand Marshal OUT West, will lead this jubilant celebration on Sunday, June 14, 2009 in this historical and time-honored tradition of the Pride Movement - now 40 years in the making!

Christopher Street West named the famed 'Queen of Comedy' Chelsea Handler and Chuy Bravo as Grand Marshals of the 2009 Los Angeles LGBT PRIDE Celebration for her visible and vocal support of equality. OUT West has been named as Community Grand Marshal in recognition of their ability to support and unite the community on a grassroots level.

On Sunday, June 14, 2009, a unique gathering of musical artists, celebrities and performers are scheduled to appear for The Last Ten Minutes of PRIDE in a one-of-a-kind performance not to be missed. All who are lucky enough to witness this closing ceremony will enjoy a unique send-off that is sure to keep the spirit of Pride resonating within the hearts and minds of the community for years to come!
