LOS ANGELES (JUNE 3, 2008) - In partnership with Time Warner Cable and the City of West Hollywood, Christopher Street West is proud to present the Los Angeles LGBT PRIDE Parade LIVE on television! Hosted by civil rights attorney John Duran, and community activist Lisa Belasanti, the annual PRIDE Parade will be broadcast live on Time Warner Cable Channel 10 in West Hollywood and streamed on the web at LAPRIDE.org/webcast.

The Parade pre-show starts at 10:30 a.m. and the Parade
kicks off at 11:00 a.m. and should run until approximately 2:00 p.m. The Parade broadcast will also be re-broadcast throughout the day on Cable Channel 10 in West Hollywood, then available on Time Warner ON DEMAND for the first time in the event's thirty-eight year history.

Host John Duran has a longstanding activism record for the LGBT community.  A founding partner in the all-gay law firm of Duran and Thomas, John Duran's record of legislative and legal victories is as impressive as his pro bono activities on the behalf of members of the LGBT community.

Host Lisa Marie Belsanti began her political activism working to elect Gray Davis as Governor. She is now a Management Analyst in the Assistant City Manager's Office in the same city.  Her involvement in the Stonewall Democratic Club maintains her political activism to this day.

Brought to viewers through the generous support of Time Warner Cable and the City of West Hollywood, several actors, community activists, public officials and special guests are scheduled to appear on the broadcast located at The Holloway Park and Veterans Memorial project at the intersection of Holloway Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard.

The expanding five-camera live television production is executive produced by live television producer David Beebe, who returns for his third LA PRIDE Broadcast.  Cindy Abril joins us once again as Producer with Marcus Martinez returns as Director along with the largest broadcast crew ever at LA PRIDE.

Field reporter Harrison, Radio Host of "Think Green Radio" will return to the broadcast and cover the parade from the sidelines interviewing parade watchers, special guests and others. Visit
goharrison.com for more info.

This year during the PRIDE Parade and Broadcast an exciting new silent celebration will take place from exactly 12:00 Noon - 12:03 p.m.  The silent celebration is an open invitation to take a look at our world today and what we can accomplish by simply taking a brief moment to remember those who are no longer with us, and to celebrate those that fought for Pride and freedoms we now enjoy.

Whether you are one of nearly 400,000 attendees along the parade route or one of 2,000,000 home television viewers, please invite your friends, family and neighbors to partake in this special moment to reflect upon a peaceful, relentless and united spirit for the betterment of all human conditions.

The revolution will be televised. JOIN US June 8, 2008 on Time Warner Channel 10 in West Hollywood or
