LOS ANGELES (May 27, 2008) - Christopher Street West proudly presents two full nights of musical entertainment at the LA PRIDE Festival June 6-8, 2008.  Saturday night, June 7, British singing sensation Joss Stone headlines an array of acts, while on Sunday, June 8, superstar Olivia Newton-John caps off a day-long musical lineup.

Joss Stone
"Anyone who attends the LA PRIDE Festival this weekend is in for a marvelously diverse collection of recording artists," said Gaye Ann Bruno, Vice President of Entertainment. "Joss Stone is a brilliant young artist, and Olivia Newton-John is loved around the world.  LA PRIDE has something for everyone," Bruno continued.

Joining the Saturday lineup  on the WaMu Main Stage are emcees Ami Cusack, Marcellas Reynolds, Ben Patrick Johnson, Billy Masters and Momma.  Music plays all day and into the night.

Appearing on Saturday are The Bombs, all girl group Eye Shadows, blue collar rocker chick Cody, and the mysterious Swivel. Misty Odell's fresh licks, Alex Davis' gender bending sounds, and Vylette's slick electronica are next. Catalog 6 checks in, followed by Patrice Pike's scrappy vibe.  Alyson is next, followed by singer/actor Kyle Puccia.

Kimberly Caldwell brings her bold ballads and blonde beauty to the stage, then rocktronica diva Jes comes out to play. Frenchie Davis, star of Broadway's Rent, invigorates the evening set leading up to headliner Joss Stone.  Joss Stone is a singular voice filled with maturity and passion who has sold over 7.5 million albums in her rise to stardom.

Sunday's lineup begins with the elusive Aelius, followed by the charms of Switchblade Kittens, a girl-centric all bass band.  Multi-dimensional sounds of Molly Zenobia next, then Audra Hardt rocks the stage with tales of her hard-fought life.

Lori Michaels brings acoustic folk rock, while Matt Zarley displalys his talents with pop, rock and R&B originals.  Century Blue Project gets crazy with alternative house-techo-punk, and Shannon rounds out the first half of the day's musical entertainment.

The multi-talented group of emcees continue their duties on Sunday too.  The evening set begins with Gretchen Bonaduce/Mudflapps, then the glamourous Abby Travis seduces everyone with her amalgam of glam-trip-hop, soul and cabaret sounds.

Olivia Newton-John Shawnee Smith and Missy Pyle take us under the moonlit skies of the desert rock, while Pretenders inspired Michelle Penn kicks up a storm and shouts her indie rock with silky grace.

Ultimate martini band, Supreme Beings of Leisure go next.  Then  Curb Records artist Kimberley Locke, a multi-dimensional performer and entrepreneur leads up to Olivia Newton-John.

The night closes with headliner Olivia Newton-John thrills the thousands of LGBT community members and supporters with her shining super-star presence.
