Greetings!
You know how much I love to talk. These newsletters and postings are simply an extension of that love, a way for me to talk to you about the shop and our activities.This issue will share my thoughts and ideas of additional ways to keep you up to date, including Face Book, my blog, and sharing YOUR ideas with me. This has been a busy month of planning for us, setting up class schedules, re-arranging furniture, and lots of "behind the scenes" things.  Next month we will be back to the business of the store and buying begins for the new season.  Communication with you and getting info about what you'd like to see here is very, very important!

I have been using Facebook for almost a year now.It is easy to post small bits of information quickly and frequently to anyone who is a "fan" or "friend". (FaceBook's terms for those who read what you post). Depending on your own preferences, you see the postings from those close to you or far away, in your family or across the world. It is meant to keep you informed in a casual way with a wide variety of people.  I have my personal page as well as one for the shop. Please consider joining me on either or both as an additional way to stay in touch with us in between these longer, more involved newsletters.  I post info about the shop several times a week, and will be posting more about the classes and events as we get more fully into them.

Join us for a Reiki share this Wednesday

Reiki is a form of healing energy which uses the universal life-force in a gentle manner for healing, comfort, and general well-being.   It is a variation of "laying on of hands" which has been known in many cultures and religious practices.  At our Reiki Share, to be held monthly on the first Wednesday evening (5:00-7:00pm), you can come to receive a 10-15 minute chair treatment from one of our certified practitioners. A $5 donation (which will be given to the Hands of Hope Food Pantry in West Harwich) is requested, but no one is turned away.  If you are a practitioner, please join us and share, too.  If you can't make this session, and would like to know more, just call.  Reiki is one of the healing services that we offer now at the Rainbow.

February and March are filled with a number of great class offerings, including this week's offerings ( Using Feng Shui for the Relationships You Wish, The Healing Angels of the Energy Field,  Reiki Share, and  Table Tipping).  See the details for all of these
on our websitepage dedicated to them  or give us call for more information.    We also have a copy of the schedule available for you at the shop and soon, at various places in the community.  We are really excited about this new portion of our shop's growth and hope you will join us soon!
I will be updating the frequency of our newsletters starting in February, because there is so much happening that I want you to stay informed.  I hope that in a few month's time we will be able to offer a divided newsletter list for you to choose what you wish to stay up to date about, but for now, please bear with me and read them all.  Coming next time, Valentines Open House and Sale and  some previews of new products I'm thinking about.  Until then, remember, only 6 more weeks til spring!

Why Communication is important
I love my customers.  I truly believe that you are the most important part of  everything I do at the shop.  I like to share the shop with you whenever I can, and this year, as we expand into additional services, I want to keep you informed on all that is happening.  Why?  Very simply, because you are as crucial to our expansion as anything else we do.  Last month when you shopped for Christmas, you told me that the Rainbow  was a place you loved and wanted it to continue.  We can only continue if we grow.  We can only grow with your continued support.  Thus, I need to have your feedback and thoughts about our products, classes, and healing services.
Every business succeeds by being responsive to the needs of its customers.  So please, tell me what you need. We started our classes with what we know and what requests we have had.  Want to learn about something else?  Let us know!
