 As IREM SF cotinues its celebration of the Diversity Speaker Program, we are happy to have as our keynote speaker highly-acclaimed educator and author Andrew Jolivette, Ph.D.  His fourth book, Obama and the Biracial Factor, seeks to understand the impact of President Obama's biracial identity on the election of 2008.

Lots of winners at Commerical Real Estate Golf Tournament

Nearly 90 golfers participated in the 13th Annual IREM/CCIM Commercial Golf Tournament held September 26 at Crow Canyon Country Club. Players and sponsors representing 19 companies enjoyed perfect weather and a memorable awards dinner and raffle.

Another highlight of the day was a hole-in-one, by James Kilroy, earning him a trip to San Diego..


Following are the tournament winners:

First Place with a 59 score: TrueGreen LandCare: Martin Becker, Jeff Beckman and Rob McCalla

Second place with a 62 score: Arborwell: Andy LaVelle, Manny Moreno, Heidi Romppane and Kimberly Taylor.

Longest Drive: Men: Pedro Sanchez. Womens: Anne Sparks

Closest to the pin: men: Jeff Beckman. Women: Julie Rodrigues

Most Accurate Drive: Men: Raul Garcia. Women: Sue Rinetti.

Putting contest: Chris Dasso

Scratcher Contest: Jeff Ong.

Only three clubs were left on the course. Two were recovered. To claim the third, email a description to Terry Shores at info@iremsf.org

And the winner is-Rob McCalla (left) accepts the winners' trophy for TrueGreen LandCare. Award ceremony MC's were Dan Stuber and David Saldivar from IREM SF, and Steve Edrington from NCalCCIM.
