It's that time of year again...the 13th Annual Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) is February 12 - 15. Join tens of thousands of birdwatchers throughout the U.S. and Canada by counting birds in your yard, school, local or state park. It's a great project for families and youth groups, beginners and experienced birdwatchers! Visit the website below for instructions and to print out a checklist before you start!
Last year a record-breaking 93,600 checklists were submitted, providing scientists with important data about species distribution, seasonal movements and bird numbers. Please participate this year, it's fun and easy! |
