LEGISLATIVE COFFEE | | An important goal of the Parent Coalition is to provide the connections and resources for families to make their voices heard. The Annual Legislative Coffee provides a relaxed environment for people to meet their legislators face-to-face and communicate their experiences in a meaningful way.

2602 McLeod Road, Bellingham Prior to the coffee, there will be an informational forum and guided discussion. Whether you are knowledgeable about the legislative process or completely new, this information will be important to make the most of the Legislative Coffee. |
CANDLELIGHT VIGIL | | "Don't Cut Our Lifeline!"
There will be a rally at the Whatcom County Courthouse Steps on Tuesday, November 22 from 4-6pm. For more information, please contact Ken Larson 360-738-3060.

YOUTH SELF ADVOCACY COMMUNITY PROJECT | |
"Hunger Doesn't Take a Holiday"
The Youth Self-Advocacy is hosting another food drive to help the Bellingham Food Bank. Please support their efforts by bringing your non-perishables to The Arc, 2602 McLeod Road, Bellingham.

DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITY
ADVISORY BOARD | | Get Involved and Make a Difference
The Whatcom County Developmental Disabilities Advisory Board meets on the fourth Monday of each month from 4:30 - 6:00 pm at St. Lukes Health Education Center, 3333 Squalicum Parkway. The next meeting is Monday, November 28th. |

Parent Coalition
|
The Parent Coalition of The Arc of Whatcom County provides information and education to individuals with developmental disabilities, their caregivers, families and the community by responding to requests for assistance. We provide 1:1 support and serve as a resource to increase understanding of the developmental disability service system and special education system.
