    Road Show comes to Blaine

    Information about the Adult Service System for individuals with developmental disabilities

    The adult service system can be challenging to navigate, and we would like to give parents and families a chance to ask questions about services and the road ahead.

    Topics that are touched on:

    • Important dates and tips for transition into adult services
    • Navigating the service system
    • Eligibility and services provided through DDD*
    • Short and long term employment supports through DVR* and the Whatcom County Developmental Disabilities Program
    • Building a life for your child after they leave school
    *DDD- Division of Developmental Disabilities *DVR-Department of Vocational Rehabilitation
