    Using the IFSP to do a great job and prove it!

    The Infant Toddler Early Intervention Program (ITEIP) invites

    The IFSP is the foundation of all services provided for children eligible for early intervention services.
    Join the presenters as they explore how to use this document to be intentional and accountable in implementing the IFSP.

    Presented by Lead FRC Christi Louro and Kris Slentz, of WWU Early Childhood Special Education.

    Care Giver Support Group

    Weekly meetings offer support and skills for self nurturing.

    The care giver support group continues to meet weekly. Participants have a supportive environment and an opportunity to learn skills that help them nurture themselves while caring for their family members.

    There will be three more meetings this year- November 5, 12, and 19.

    All parent and family care givers are welcome to join the group.

    Parent Education Classes on Autism offered through Children's Hospital

    Two levels of information and depth are offered throughout the year.

    Autism 101 is an introductory class for families of newly diagnosed individuals. It is offered several times throughout the year.
    The next class will be November 6, 7:00-8:30 p.m.

    The Autism 200 series is a series of more in-depth classes on specific topics such as communication skills, behavioral skills, social skills, medication and legal aspects.
    Classes are taught by rotating faculty members from Children's Hospital and the University of Washington, along with professionals from the community.

    The next Autism 200 class will be on "Day to Day Functions" on November 20, 2008
