    Focus is to build a comprehensive system of services for children and families impacted by developmental disorders.

    Families, local and regional health care providers, mental health providers, schools, community service agencies, and others who care about this population are asked to join this meeting.

    To prepare for the community meeting, families and care providers are being surveyed.

    Stakeholder meeting survey link

    Help identify the issues

    This stakeholders meeting wants to identify and address issues facing children with developmental needs, their families, and the community that provides services for them.

    To prepare for the meeting, planners would like to survey, separately, families and care providers of children with developmental needs.

    October Autism Training

    Effective Programs for Students with Autism Spectrum Disorders

    Offered by the Autism Outreach of the Northwest Educational Service District and presented by Chrystal Gray, Ph.D.

    This session will outline the components of an effective education program for students with ASD.
    Presenter is Crystal Gray, Ph.D., an Autism specialist and executive director of Puget Sound Psychology & Consulting.

    She is the author of The Educational Aspects of Autism Disorders and a researcher in responsiveness to treatment in students with ASD.

    Crystal has taught hundreds of autism courses and is a dynamic and engaging instructor.This course is available to K-20 locations statewide.
