    Bullying Prevention Awareness

    Oct. 5 - 11
The Third Annual National Bullying Prevention Awareness Week

It takes a community to prevent bullying of children. National Bullying Prevention Awareness Week encourages communities nationwide to work together to increase awareness of the prevalence and impact of bullying on all children.

PACER Center is a parent training and information center for families of children and youth with all disabilities from birth through 21 years old.

They have been at the forefront of a movement to raise the awareness of bullying and to provide information and resources that are effective at preventing bullying.

Families, students, schools, organizations and other groups can unite with PACER to prevent bullying.

Bullying is a behavior that is intentional, repetitive, and hurtful. An imbalance of power exists between the child who is bullying and the intended target.

Follow the link below for more information on PACER and for resources on bullying.
