  • Fathers Network Annual Campout- Fathers Day Weekend!

    25th Annual Fathers Network Campout June 13, 14, 15,

In beautiful Washington Park, just outside Anacortes, Washington
This event is open to all families who have children with special needs. Family friends are also welcome, as we know some of these friendships are very special in the lives of our children, and ourselves.

It is located on Puget Sound, so the water and island views are stunning!

Washington Park is really a gem of a place, with cool activities for all kinds of kid even the big kids, like moms and dads!

We will post some signs indicating our camping area.
Please park cars in the regular parking lot.
Come on up, and join the fun!

Call Greg Schell at 425-653-4286 (Kindering Center) with any questions.

Living with Asperger's Syndrome and related conditions can be very stressful and you may feel like you are the only person in the world facing these issues.

At this site, you will find that many resources exist that have been helpful to others in your situation.

There are also many ways to connect with others who understand.

    Hunger Highlight #3

    Gardening for Good

Many local agencies are currently working to grow fresh food for hungry people in our community.

The Bellingham Food Bank operates a farm located off the Guide Meridian.

    Ferndale has a Community Garden.
The food is distributed to food banks and hot meal programs throughout Whatcom County.

The Victory Garden project brings any unwanted vegetables from your garden to the food bank.
Turn your garden into a Victory Garden and share your produce.

Plant an extra row in your garden, no matter the size, to help feed the hungry in your community.

Drop any produce off at the Bellingham Food Bank Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30
or Contact Mike Cohen at bfbanked@openaccess.org or 676-0392
