    Discuss Independent Living and
    Native American Issues

    Sponsored by the
    State Independent Living Council
    and Lummi Vocational Rehabilitation Program

    ASL Interpreters on site

    For persons with disabilities, family members, and anyone interested in disability services.

    The Forum will:

    • Discuss independent living philosophy and how it might apply to Native American populations
    • Provide information about the State Independent Living Council (SILC)
    • Discuss participant concerns about having a disability and living as independently as possible

    Free Car Seat Inspection

    95% of the car seats inspected at clinics in Whatcom County needed some adjustment or education to provide maximum safety.
