    2008 Family Support Conference

    "Celebrating Success"
    The Arc of Spokane's 3rd Annual Conference

    Conference starts with a Transition Panel discussing preparation for adult life, what worked well, what else could have been done.

    Breakout sessions on important topics including
    behavior as communication,
    relationship workshop,
    developing a vision for your son/daughter,

    Breakout sessions for dads as well as for foster/adoptive parents, grandparents, & other relatives.

    Keynote presenter is Kathie Snow on "Disability is Natural
    and Other Common Sense."
    She is the mother of an adult son with disabilities and a nationally known speaker.

    We encourage parents to attend this conference together so childcare for children under 12 and respite for children over 12 and adults is provided.

    The registration deadline is March 24, 2008.
