Dr. Brown's itinerary:

The Annual 'Gathering of the Saints' Conference of the Grace of God Ministries in Bladensburg, Maryland comes up from Sunday May 17 to Sunday May 24, 2009. The theme of this year's meeting is "God will do a New Thing."

Dr. Brown will be ministering from the 17th till the 20th, while Bishop Robert Kayanja from Uganda will round up the conference.

Pastors Akintunde & Rosalind Phillips are the host ministers.

Witty Words.

"The most miserable prison in the world is the prison we make for ourselves when we refuse to show mercy. Our thoughts become shackled, our emotions are chained, the will is almost paralyzed. But when we show mercy, all of these bonds are broken, and we enter into a joyful liberty that frees us to share God's love with others."

Warren W. Wiersbe.

Blazing Words

"THE WAY YOU DRESS IS THE WAY YOU ARE ADDRESSED."

IF MY PEOPLE ...
" And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity; And she was a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day" (Luke 2:36-37).

As His Own Soul (II).
"Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul." (I Samuel 18:3).

When God wants to bless you, He brings a person into your life. In the same way, when the devil wants to destroy you, he puts a person in your life.

"And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends. Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me." (Zechariah 13:6; Psalm 41:9).

In choosing relationships, there are four kinds of people we need to watch out for:

1. Those who do not really accept your person or your assignment.

2. Those who do not truly respect you or your dreams.

3. Those who who are not ready to protect you, your dreams, or your assignment.

4. Those who do not really expect you to reach your destination, or fulfill your life's assignment. They don't believe you are going anywhere.

The devil will often use these categories of people to distract, discourage, or demoralize you. Watch out for them!

Hear this...

Love is when you find someone desirable,
Respect is when you find someone necessary.

Never hang around those who have no respect for you or your God-given assignment. They will not accept you because they don't see that you are necessary to them.

Observe that while the wrong people feed your weaknesses, the right people will always starve those weaknesses.

What you accept and respect, you will protect and expect great things to come out of them!

Hallelujah.

Holy Humor.
Laughing Jesus "Bob, why don't you play golf with John anymore?" asked a friend.

"Would you play golf with a guy who moved the ball with his foot when you weren't watching?" Bob asked.

"Well, no," admitted the friend.

"Neither will John," replied Bob.

Ministry Update:
The Mothers' Day celebration of the RCCG King's Palace, Katy Texas held on Sunday May 10, 2009. Dr. Brown ministered along the theme of the meeting: "Amazing Grace." It was a very glorious time of worship and fellowship in the newly dedicated ultra-modern church building.

To God be the glory!
