The Exemplary Lifestyle (V).
"Let no man despise thy youth; but
be thou an example of the believers,
in word, in conversation, in charity, in
spirit, in faith, in purity." (I
Timothy 4:12).
The ultimate result of living exemplary
lives, according to apostle Paul, is that our
'profiting' shall appear to all men!
One thing is clear from the
scriptures that we all (both young and old)
are called to lead exemplary lives worthy of
emulation.
"Ye are witnesses, and God
also, how holily and justly and
unblameably we behaved ourselves among
you that believe." (I Thessalonians
2:10).
"For yourselves know how ye
ought to follow us: For we behaved not
ourselves disorderly among you."
(II Thessalonians 3:7).
"Wherefore I beseech you, be
ye followers of me." (I
Corinthians 4:16).
Art thou an example? Is your
lifestyle worthy of emulation? Do you see
anybody around you being challenged by your
manner of life? Do you notice anyone trying
to be like you?
If your Christianity is not
contagious, then it is contaminated!!!
