Let there be Light! (IV)
"In the beginning God created the
heaven and the earth. And the earth was
without form, and void; and darkness was upon
the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God
moved upon the face of the waters. And God
said, let there be light: and there was
light." (Genesis 1: 1-3).

When light shows up, darkness has no choice
but to disappear. Light has to do with
brightness, radiance, glow, luster, or
luminescence.
Just like darkness, "light"
may be either:
1. Natural: "And God
said, let there be light; and there was
light." (Genesis 1:3-5).
2. Supernatural: "And
behold , the angel of the Lord came upon him,
and a light shined in the prison..."
(Acts 12:7).
Generally, "light" is
descriptive of :
1. The Nature of God (I
John 1:5).
2. The Word of God (Psalm 119:105).
3. The Wisdom of God (Daniel
2:21-22).
4. The Guidance of God (Psalm
78:14).
5. The Favor of God (Psalm 4:6).
6. The presentation and
proclamation of the person of Christ (John 8:12).
In the absence of light (Natural or
Supernatural) there most certainly will be:
A.) Lack of vision (inability
to see as you ought to see).
B.) Lack of revelation
(inability to comprehend, or unveil fine
details).
C.) Error of judgment
(inability to judge issues, or take decisions
correctly).
D.) Failure to fulfill purpose
(inability to create what you're supposed to
create, or become what you're supposed to
become).
Isn't it amazing that the Almighty
God himself could not create anything without
first calling light forth?
...friends, above all things what we
all need most desperately at this time is
Divine illumination.
Let there be light!
