Witty Words.

"How little chance the Holy Ghost has nowadays. The churches and missionary societies have so bound Him in red tape that they practically ask Him to sit in a corner while they do the work themselves."

C.T. Studd.

Blazing Words

"WHEN THE DEVIL STARTS MESSING, GOD STARTS BLESSING."

IF MY PEOPLE ...
"And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us: And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him" (1 John 5:14-15).

Multiplied Fruitfulness.
"And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion...." (Genesis 1:28)

The God we serve is the God of fruitfulness. His uttmost desire for us since the time of creation is that we be fruitful; and every time we bring forth fruit as Children of God, our heavenly Father is glorified (John 15:8).

A 'Fruitful' man is a fertile man; he is a productive man; he is successful, useful, beneficial, worthwhile and plentiful as an individual!

Looking through the scriptures, fruitfulnesss may be physical, spiritual, material, marital, academic, ministerial, etc. Whatever be the kind of fruitfulness in focus, there are certain Biblical conditions which must be fulfilled as a prerequisite for bringing forth 'fruit' bountifully:

1. Right Soil (or Good Ground): This has to do with the environment, atmosphere, surroundings, or location where growth or fruit- bearing is sought ( see Matthew 13:8).

2. Rain: No man bears fruits except there is a 'rain' of the Spirit. There must be a heavenly release of grace, mercy and favor. (James 5:18)."No Rain, no gain!"

3. Sunshine: We all need the radiance and the effulgence of the Sun of righteousness as an ingredient for growth and fruit- bearing. We need the glory of God; we need his presence and revelation beamed upon us! (see Deuteronomy 33:14; Malachi 4:2).

4. Seasons: This is symbolic of opportunity, and timing - natural or divine (see Matthew 21:34).

5. Cultivation: 'Cultivation' refers to God's dealings with us. He takes us through the school of the Spirit where we are drilled, chastised and 'pruned.' (Luke 13:8).

6. Death: This refers to mortification of the flesh; consecration and sanctification. God never entrusts fruits to 'living' people. We must 'die' in order to be productive! (John 12:24).

7. Additions: There is a need for a conscious, deliberate striving and pressing on the part of the individual. There must an affort in accretion by adding virtue upon virtue, knowledge upon knowledge, patience upon patience, etc. (II Peter 1:5- 11).

Put all these together, it equals 'Multiplied Fruitfulness.'

Got any fruits?

Holy Humor.
Laughing Jesus A prisoner in jail received a letter from his wife: "I have decided to plant some vegetables in the back garden. When is the best time to plant them?"

The prisoner, knowing that the prison guards read all mail, replied in a letter: "Dear wife, whatever you do, do not touch the back garden. That is where I hid all the money."

A week or so later, he received another letter from his wife: "You won't believe what happened. Some men came with shovels to the house and dug up all the back garden."

The prisoner wrote another letter: "Dear wife, now is the best time to plant the vegetables."
