"Because thine heart was tender, and thou didst humble thyself before God, when thou heardest his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst thyself before me, and didst rend thy clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard thee also, saith the LORD" (2 Chronicles 34:27).

Known by their fruits.
"By the fruit of their lives you
must
recognize them." (Matthew 7:16 -
TCNT.. Rhm.)

The surest way to recognizing a tree is by
the fruit it bears. There are certain
inevitable fruits that will be manifested in
the life of anyone who claims to be truly
spiritually revived.
Love and joy are only two of these
fruits;
others are:
3. Peace: This is
manifested as harmony in
divine and human relations. It is the state
of quietness, rest and security in the midst
of turmoil and strife. This kind of peace is
not circumstantial, nor does it have anything
to do with happenings on the outside; it is
peace that originates from within; it is the
gift of God that flows forth from the
believer's heart like a river. Hallelujah!
"Peace I leave with you, my peace I
give unto
you: not as the world giveth, give I unto
you... O that thou hadst hearkened to my
commandments! then had thy peace been
as a
river... Thou wilt keep him in perfect
peace
whose mind is stayed on thee: because he
trusteth thee. The Lord will give strength
unto his people; the LORD will bless his
people with peace." (John 14:27;
Isaiah
48:18; 26:3; Psalms 29:11).
4. Long Suffering: Long
suffering is the
ability to endure patiently without murmuring
or resentment even in the face of severe
afflictions, tumults and distressful
circumstances.
"But in all things approving
ourselves as the
ministers of God, in much patience, in
afflictions, in necessities, in distresses.
In stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in
labours, in watchings, in fastings: By
pureness, by knowledge, by
longsuffering, by
kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love
unfeigned. Charity suffereth long..."
(II
Corinthians 6:4-6; I Corinthians 13:4).
5. Gentleness: A
disposition to be gentle,
soft-spoken, cultured, and refined in
character and conduct.
"And the servant of the Lord
must not strive;
but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach,
patient, In meekness instructing those that
oppose themselves... To speak evil of no man,
to be no brawlers, but gentle, showing all
meekness unto all men." (II Timothy
:2:24;
Titus 3:2).
6. Goodness: The state
of being good, kind,
virtuous, generous, and God-like in conduct.
"Surely goodness and
mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life... For he satisfieth
the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul
with goodness. For the fruit of the
Spirit is
in all goodness..." (Psalms
23:6; 107:9;
Ephesians 5:9).
