The King's Tabernacle of the Christ
Life Ministries Inc. in Newark, New
Jersey will be hosting Dr. Brown from Friday
January 30 to Sunday February 1, 2009 as they
celebrate their 4th Anniversary. The theme of
the program is "The Pursuit of His
Presence."
Pastor Moses Olaniyi Bayewu is
the Assembly Pastor, and the Presiding Bishop
of the Ministry is Rt. Rev. Julius Abiola.
Dr. Brown will also be ministering
Sunday evening in a program organized by
Christ Living Generation Ministries in
Philadelphia. The theme of the program is
"Change is Coming." Pastor
Kayode Ige is the host clergyman.

|
Power in the Spirit (VI).
And, behold, I send the promise of my
Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of
Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from
on high."
(Luke 24:49).
We have seen that the reason Jesus was able
to wrought mighty works was because God had
anointed him with the Holy Ghost and Power in
an immeasurable fashion (Acts 10:38; John 3:34).
We also are charged to tarry and
receive the same kind of Holy Ghost
anointing. This anointing comes with a full
baptismal measure of the Spirit and power.
With this power, we can wrought:
1. Signs & Wonders:
"And fear came upon every soul: and
many wonders and signs were done by the
apostles." (Acts 2:43).
2. Healings:
"Then Peter said, Silver and gold have
I none; but such as I have give I thee: In
the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up
and walk." (Acts 3:6).
3. Miracles:
"And Stephen, full of faith and power,
did great wonders and miracles among the
people." (Acts 6:8).
4. Special Miracles:
"And God wrought special miracles by
the hands of Paul:" (Acts 19:11).
5. Deliverance:
"And it shall come to pass in that
day, that his burden shall be taken away from
off thy shoulder, and his yoke from off thy
neck, and the yoke shall be destroyed because
of the anointing." (Isaiah 10:27).
Jesus declared that we would be able
to do the works that he did, and even greater
works (John 14:12). However, we need the
Jesus kind of anointing in order to do the
Jesus kind of works!
The question here is: Is it possible
for us in 2009 to receive the same kind of
anointing Jesus received? The Lord Himself
already answered the question for us:
"Then came to him the mother of
Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping
him, and desiring a certain thing of him. And
he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith
unto him, Grant that these my two sons may
sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other
on the left, in thy kingdom. But Jesus
answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask.
Are ye able to drink of the cup that I
shall drink of, and to be baptized with the
baptism that I am baptized with? They say
unto him, We are able. And he saith unto
them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and
be baptized with the baptism that I am
baptized with: but to sit on my right
hand, and on my left, is not mine to give,
but it shall be given to them for whom it is
prepared of my Father." (Mt. 20:20-23).
Beloved, Jesus says we can receive
the same baptism, the same fullness of the
anointing without measure that he had; men
have received it before; we also can receive
it today.
