Power in the Spirit (V).
"For he whom God hath sent speaketh
the words of God: for God giveth not the
Spirit by measure unto him."
(John 3:34).

The Scriptures declare that Jesus received
the Spirit "without measure", implying
that there can be measures of the
Spirit. As a matter of fact, there can be:
1. A Mosaic portion, and a
1/71 of the Mosaic
portion (Num. 11:16-17, 25-29).
2. An Elijah portion, and a double
of the
Elijah portion (II Kings 2:9-10).
3. An Elijah portion on John the
Baptist (Lk.
1:15-17).
4. The earnest of the Spirit (II
Cor. 1:22; 5:5).
5. The Spirit without measure
(John 3:34).
The Spirit without measure is also
regarded as a baptismal measure, the fullness
of the anointing, and what Jesus called
"rivers of
living water."
Jesus was able to work mighty works
because
the Spirit had been given to him without
measure. God had anointed him with the Holy
Ghost and Power without limits; no wonder
nothing was impossible with him: He could
raise the dead, walk on water, multiply bread
and fish, open blind eyes, unstop deaf ears,
rebuke the winds and rise from the dead!
His accomplishments were limitless
because the measure of the Spirit's anointing
upon him was limitless. This is the level we
all ought to go for "...the Spirit
without measure."
MEN ONLY DO EXPLOITS IN ACCORDANCE
WITH THE MEASURE OF THE ANOINTING THEY CARRY.
IF IT CAN BE MEASURED, THEN IT CAN EXPIRE!
