Taken from a tourism brochure, these words perfectly describe the Finger Lakes region in upstate New York and we invite you to experience it for yourselves!
Since a road-trip last fall to the Seneca Lake area, to visit family, we have begun to explore the possibility of organizing a weekend get-away to this scenic region. We have fond memories of visiting our grandparents in Geneva, NY from when we were young children and look forward to learning more about this emerging premier wine destination with you...our valued customers!
Encompassing over 100 vineyards and wineries, wines are produced from varietals such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Vidal Blanc, and Seyval Blanc. Quality Rieslings and Chardonnays, which flourish on the hillside vineyards that surround the lakes which create a moderating effect on the cooler temperatures and climate. Riesling, often times thought of as producing sweeter wines, actually produce relatively dry wines that are light in body with aromas of citrus, apple, and sometimes peach, with floral, honeyed notes. Announcing two very special events coming up in July for us;
We are pleased to announce our participation as wine sponsor for the opening reception of;
July 8th from 6-8pm
at the
Cotuit Center for the Arts
It will be a special evening that will bring together over 70 Cape leading artists who have captured the beauty of Barnstable Land Trust's wetlands, woodlands, and wildlife. This special exhibit of local artwork, which will be on display from July 5th thru August 1st, is a collaborative effort between the Cotuit Center for the Arts and The Barnstable Land Trust. A portion of the net sales proceeds will benefit both organizations.

'Evening by the Sea' Auction
Friday, July 10th, 2009
at the
Wianno Club in Osterville
annual evening of giving for many, the silent and live auction are major sources of funding for this vital organization.
