Danette would like to dedicate this e-newsletter to her father in law, John Atsalis, known locally to many as 'Dundee' who died on Tuesday. A Greek-American, who had a particular fondness for Irish food. One to welcome family and friends around his table, she will always have a special memory of the delicious, home made traditional Irish dinner he lovingly prepared for her family last year on St. Patrick's Day.
Irish or not, in honor of 'Dundee', may you gather family and friends around your table this St. Patrick's Day and be grateful for having them in your life!

Harpoon's salute to St. Patrick's Day, Harpoon Celtic Ale is an Irish style red ale that has become their official spring seasonal beer. Featuring a deep amber color, this ale has a rich caramel and butterscotch nose, with sumptuous malt and a moderate hop finish makes for a medium bodied, smooth, rich beer.
A rich and fruity aroma precedes a full and rather biscuity malt body accented by notes of cocoa, caramel and red apple, concluding with a dry malty finish. Pale and caramel malts give the beer its rich deep red color and distinctive caramel flavor.

| Irish Whiskeys |
St. Patrick's Day is a great time to try something new or enjoy and old favorite! Irish whiskey can be enjoyed on the rocks, in a cocktail or a steaming cup of Irish coffee. What distinguishes Irish Whiskey from the others?
- Triple distilled for purity producing a smooth, light quality
- Maintains the flavor of barley as the Irish typically abstain from using peat in the production
- Aged a minimum of three years, often many more, in previously used barrels for sherry or bourbon
- Producers have remained small and produce relatively small amounts despite ownership by large international companies; resulting in a focused approach to distillation and ensuring the preservation of traditional methods of production.
