Tres Amigas
Avonlea News A sort of official tabloid
March 2006

It's been 10 years since we bagged the final shot of Road to Avonlea. On that dull February day in 1996 cast and crew wept. Especially Zach. But he was faking it to get hugs from the well-endowed make-up girls.

Some cast members from The Road to Avonlea will be appearing at the Royal Ontario Museum this May for the first official Avonlea Partial Cast Reunion (it's not a very big stage). Kevin Sullivan will offer a brief history of the series punctuated by video clips, and cast members will be on hand for Q&A. Admission is a bargain at $20, and proceeds support the museum's expansion.

This is the true joy in life, the being used for a purpose recognized by yourself as a mighty one; the being a force of nature instead of a feverish, selfish little clod of ailments and grievances complaining that the world will not devote itself to making you happy. I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community, and as long as I live it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live. I rejoice in life for its own sake. Life is no "brief candle" for me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations. ?George Bernard Shaw

Mag bantered online with Avonlea enthusiasts on March 8. Lots of great questions rolled in to Sullivan Entertainment from Avonlea fans around the world - in fact, it took Mag a lot longer than 90 minutes to answer them all, even typing at terminal velocity.
