If you're stuck for a gift this Valentine's Day, I can
help. Or, I might make it worse. Let's find
out together.

Mag conscripted visitors at the Edmonton Reno Show
to build 4 fabulous 'instant' chairs. Teams had 20
minutes to build a Retro Lounger out of plywood and
2x4 lumber. The result? Oh baby. The finished
chairs were auctioned off in a feverish (okay, sort of
quiet and polite) bidding war. Winners (the Fabisa
family) returned to the show the next day with a
truck big enough to handle the oversized loungers.
Proceeds were lovingly donated to Edmonton's
Habitat for Humanity.

Mag is slated to address Fate, Hormones and Home
Improvement in her first speaking engagement for the
Royal Ontario Museum. Interspersed with pithy clips
from her popular relationship series Men On
Women, Mag will answer important questions
like, "At the end of a date, when someone says 'I'll
call you', how long should you wait before concluding
that they were insincere, or they're out of
the country or they're kilt?"
(kilt adj. archaic Scottish for 'deed')
(deed, adj., archaic Scottish for 'tets
oop'.)

Valentine?s Day conversation always degrades into 3
possible responses:
- I can see by your face that I was wrong about
that gift.
- What do you mean, 'cheap'?
- You should have married someone thoughtful.
