about being able to use the same tartlette pans to make the
most elegant tropical bark mendient candies! This recipe
sheet includes both recipes!

It's that time of the year to make cookies. Here are some
recipes that are my favorites. The cut-out sugar cookie is
delicious and easy to make. Importantly, the sugar cookie will
not change shape as it bakes. Nothing worse than taking all
the time to make cookie dough, rolling it out, cutting it out only
to find that your reindeer cut-out has morphed into an
unrecognizable blob when it comes from the oven. That won't
happen with this recipe. It is especially important to use the
right recipe whem you are using a cutter like that detailed
snowflake cutter to the left - it is a gorgeous cutter - 7.5" across
constructed of tinplate steel. Detailed interior cut-outs for
intricate designs and decorating. The Spritz and Rosette
cookies are
great too. These recipes bring back memories of the zillions of
cookies that my Mom used to make for holiday cookie tray gifts
for friends and family. I think these recipes will become some
of your favorites too!

Chocolate Peppermint Cookies
|
 |
|
This is one of my favorite recipes. It is simple to make, they
taste great - and they are so pretty. This year, Wilton has come
out with a red, green and white Holiday Mint Crunch. It is
perfect to use in this recipe. The hardest part of making these
cookies is finding the Famous Wafers. I find them in most HEB
stores and sometimes they are in the icecream area with the
icecream cones. It is worth the search to find them!

These recipes are easy candies to make - and they taste great!
Candies make a wonderful gift. Who does'nt like candy - and
even more important who does'nt like to get a homemade
gift? Homemade gifts make gift giving special and can make
gift giving more economical. The recipes for these candies are
tried and true and are timeless classics. Enjoy!

Each newsletter we will put in some of the pictures of
cakes that Kristie has done lately. Who doesn't like to
look at pictures of cakes? This might give you some
ideas for your cakes to decorate, or ideas for ordering
a cake. If you want to order a cake, you can email
Kristie at cakes@allinonebakeshop.com. We only
take-on so many cakes per week, and we usually max-
out, so place your order as early as possible - at least
two weeks in advance of your event. Enjoy looking at
the cakes - there are some great ones!
