The fall schedule is now online! Planning for the perfect fall semester? Make sure to plan ahead and take advantage of your registration appointment time. Avoid disappointment by checking the online fall schedule immediately prior to your registration appointment to be certain your desired classes are still available. Log on to InSite to view your registration appointment day and time.

DVC Book Center
Rental books must be returned by May 27 to avoid any penalties. Rental books should be returned inside the bookstore at the main cash registers. Do not sell your rental books at the buyback window or you will be charged for failure to return the rental book.
Textbook buy back date and times: May 23-27, 2011 Monday through Thursday - 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday - 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

DVC Dance Production Presents: Through the Door to the Floor
May 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. and May 8 at 2 p.m.in the Performing Arts Center. Visit www.dvc.edu/dance for more information. Every year the dance department puts on two productions: the winter production is choreographed by our faculty members and the spring production is choreographed by the students in the program. Both shows touch on various styles of the dance; including, modern, jazz, ballet, Latin, and ballroom. The productions are always very beautiful and quite a visual treat.

There were a total of 15 candidates competing for 10 positions and there were 917 valid votes cast in the election, an increase of almost 300 votes from last year's election. They will assume office as of June 1, 2011.

Educational Talent Search Program
Paid positions for the summer! The Educational Talent Search Program at DVC seeks math tutors and Teacher Assistants for summer 2011. Tutors and Teacher Assistants (TA) are needed to work with local middle and high school students. Students interested in being a tutor or TA should contact Jackie Castellano at jjonesca@dvc.edu. San Ramon Valley Center
The Transfer Center will be at SRVC on May 4 from 12-2 p.m. in the Learning Commons. No appointment is required. Get help with: Four year school applications; transfer course requirements; Transfer Admission Guarantees and search for colleges and majors. Financial Aid Drop-in hours will be at SRVC on Thursday, May 12 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and 2-6 p.m. Check in at the Admissions and Records Office. Want to know what's going on at SRVC? Graduation 2011
Visit www.dvc.edu/grads for more graduation information. May 16-27, 2011 - Student cap and gown sales at DVC Book Center. Graduation letter sent in early May will include details. May 27, 2011, 7 p.m. - Graduation ceremony in Viking Stadium at DVC, Pleasant Hill Campus (weather permitting). The commencement ceremony and celebration are open to students who earned a degree or certificate for summer or fall 2010, or spring 2011. Students who have applied for and who have met the requirements for a degree or certificate will be sent detailed information about graduation in early May.
