Unique always has been and always will be on the forefront of innovation and design. We are constantly striving to provide our customers with the perfect product for their outdoor lighting projects.

To do this we need to not only develop new products, but we need to constantly update and improve upon the current lights we have. Customer feedback plays a huge role in the development of new products and the continuous improvement of existing Unique Lighting products.

Unique will not only continue to make these improvements but we will also take the advice of these same customers and make sure we do a better job at notifying you of these changes. We will do this through emails like this and on our website in our New Product Update section.

New Big Bang
The NEW Big Bang!
Unique has made enhancements to our Big Bang fixture. This fixture is a robust member of the Odyssey line of lifetime warranty lights.

The following changes will apply to product that is shipping effective today.

  • Center mounted stem with decorative natural brass
  • Unique Authentic logo on the thumb-nut
  • One piece shroud and cross-hatch
  • Recessed hex nut for locking position of shroud
  • Double o-ring between body and shroud
  • Stainless steel bulb retainer
  • Stainless steel lens retainer
  • The addition of the Odyssey series design grooves

Unique Down Lights Update
Due to consumer demand Unique Lighting has made the decision to make the Sphere Base the default mounting base for its Quasar 1, Comet, and Probe- OSM down lights.

These lights previously came with the Stratosphere Bracket which was originally designed as a mounting bracket for trees and other down lighting situations. The Sphere Base on the other hand is a very popular base for use on structures and architecture due to it's flat mounting side and the smooth transition it gives the fixture.

After much feedback and special orders requesting that we include the Sphere Base with these lights, we decided it was the right decision to make.

The Stratosphere Bracket however can still be ordered along with these fixtures at no charge. You just need to specify by adding an -ST to the end of the part number when ordering.

Copper Knights, New Stem Lengths Available!
We are pleased to inform you that the listed fixtures below, members of our Copper Knights series, are now available with alternate stem lengths.

  • Illuminator 4
  • Illuminator 6
  • Cambridge

When lighting areas that include plants of varying heights, the ability to utilize enhanced area lights is definitely a bonus. These fixtures will add character to the landscape and help to fill in black holes.

In addition, they can add a dimension similar to moonlighting, casting shadows on the plants and on the ground. We recommend placing these fixtures 6" higher than the plant, and in groups of 3 or 5. These will provide a character element while enhancing the aesthetics of the lighting portrait.
