The Florida Public Transportation Association (FPTA) will host its 37th annual conference Oct. 16-18 at the Hyatt Regency in Tampa. More than 250 public transit professionals from throughout Florida have registered to attend.

The keynote speaker is Dr. Yvette Taylor, Federal Transit Administration Region 4 Administrator, scheduled to speak during the conference opening Oct. 17 at 9 a.m. Hillsborough County Commission Chair Al Higginbotham, HART Board Chair Alison A. Hewitt and FPTA Executive Director Wes Watson are also scheduled to speak during the conference opening.
