HART bus ridership numbers for May are in!
- Bus ridership for May 2011 is 1,177,212, up 16 percent compared to the same month last year.
- Bus ridership is up 14 percent year to date (October 2010 - May 2011), compared to the same months last year.
- Sunday bus ridership jumped by 21 percent in May and 38 percent in April, compared to the same months last year, respectively.
This week is the last week for Hillsborough County public school students, which means it's time to have a summer blast with HART! Save money on gas, and purchase a Summer Blast Pass for only $30, valid through Aug. 31. Anyone age 17 and under can use it for unlimited rides on HART bus service, including HART Flex. Summer Blast Passes are available for purchase at any of the following four HART locations:
- Downtown Tampa: HART on Franklin, 403 N. Franklin
- Downtown Tampa: Marion Transit Center, 1211 N. Marion St.
- University Area: University Area Transit Center, 13110 N. 27th St.
- Ybor City: HART Administrative Offices, 1201 E. Seventh Ave.
Also, present a Summer Blast Pass at any local Pollo Tropical, and save $3 on any family meal.
Summer Blast Pass is not valid for use on HART Express Routes, HARTPlus or the TECO Line Streetcar System. Proof of age is required at the time of purchase.
