HART will hold a public hearing Thursday, May 12, 4 - 6 p.m. at its Administrative Office, 1201 E. Seventh Ave. in Tampa. The purpose of the hearing will be to give residents and/or groups an opportunity to present their views and comments regarding the HART proposed application for federal transit urbanized area formula funds.
On Feb. 8, 2011, the Federal Register notice announced a partial allocation for fiscal year 2011 of Section 5307 Formula funds. The HART share of the partial allocation is $4,645,783. This allocation will provide funds for preventative maintenance projects. No match is required for preventative maintenance projects.
